"Challenged Economy; Inspires to Innovate Strategies"

During these economic tough times, many corporations may argue that training is unnecessary and that work should only be assigned to those whose skills are suited for the work.  Consequently, students who are attending school are faced with limited opportunities in their chosen field, because they lack experience, guidance, or skills that are not often provided in the workforce.  Often times, students get stuck into a job path that is irrelevant to what they have studied to accomplish.  Perhaps, studying a particular course doesn’t provide guarantees to grasp the fundamentals, unless these theories are explored through practice, a hands-on approach methodology, and linking training into business results [Brethrower, 1998].  While the economy is struggling to recover, this is the best time to focus on innovation and creative strategies for our communities.  As some economist reveals, this is the best time to reinvent ourselves and empower those around us, so that we may enrich our new generations.

So many companies these days are putting aside training programs for their employees.  Most frequently, it is because of the cost and time of training involved.  So, its best to make these programs the least of their concerns. However, these businesses may not realize that they are actually costing themselves a greater cost in the long run by not providing training.  Companies maybe spending more to make certain that the employee knows how to perform their jobs to the best of his or her ability.  With the growing competitions among businesses in every industry, a lack of training in the employees can make the difference between maintaining success, and ultimate failure.  Without providing proper training among workers at the lower levels of the company, it is becoming increasingly challenging to find competent people to promote or hire for positions higher up in the corporate hierarchy.  In fact, this challenge gives students lesser opportunities to be given a chance to gain experience in their chosen field of study, and the opportunities to practice theories into real-world applications, loses its elements in time, because it is not practiced.  Somehow, internships are very difficult as well with this in mind, considering it is only within certain career fields that provide these opportunities. Unfortunately, if many companies don’t have time to invest in their own workers, perhaps, students are the least of their concerns.

With this in mind, our quest is to venture into building an R&D facility for our community.  We are devoted to venturing into competing in research missions within the federal sectors, which will give us an opportunity to create more potential job opportunities in the US, and to help thrive a stronger economy.  Through creative thinking, we are working towards education, workforce training, economic sustainability, health and wellness programs for youths, and much more.
